There is a place for everyone to serve!
At Saint Luke, there are a variety of ministries available for all ages to get involved to serve and to grow in community and their relationship with Jesus.
Our Children’s Ministry is designed for children 3 years of age to 5th grade. Twice a month our children are taught Biblical lessons on their level. Through arts and crafts, hands on activities and memory verses, our children enjoy a safe atmosphere filled with love, fun and learning about Christ.
Each week we like to welcome our guest and members into a spirit-filled environment full of godly love and a sense that EVERYONE BELONGS. Our greeters have the wonderful responsibility of meeting you at the door and supporting you while you’re with us so, If you have a big heart and love to smile then this Ministry is for you.
The St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church Usher Board is committed to serving God’s people in God’s House. We are the doorkeepers of the church that believe in maintaining a safe and loving environment for everyone that worships with us. The Usher Board is a crucial part of worship because not only is it one of the most visible ministries in the Church, but it gives us an opportunity to keep order and create a spirit of worship that ensures everyone that visits has an amazing experience from the moment they are escorted to their seat. The Ushers of St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church want everyone that enters the church to feel the love of Christ and also the love we have in serving them. We will come to church prepared, physically, emotionally and spiritually to love God and serve.
